Midget Wrestling Warriors Baton Rouge Sport reviews
Seinfeld still has it
"Seinfeld was absolutely hilarious, and he came rushing out with almost no wait time to immediately start making us laugh. The theatre itself, as usual, is absolutely gorgeous, and any fan of classic architecture could spend hours identifying the unique designs. The opening act, a comedian we had never heard of, started with some very solid laughs, ending a bit slow. Numerous people were still getting to their seats, so some of the punchlines were obscured by the rustling of bodies in the theatre. The slow opening act wasn't entirely his fault. Seinfeld, as expected, still has the ability to humorously point out just how goofy human beings are. Some of his jokes, while funny, were obviously updated versions of his classic jokes. Its nice to see him update his material, rather than riding on years and years of stored up classics. There was an audience member in the front row who kept trying to talk to Jerry, which prompted a humorous interaction. It was noticeable after awhile that Jerry was getting a tiny bit annoyed, yet he still showed all the class in the world. The whole set of Seinfeld lasted a little over an hour, which felt a lot longer than others have commented. He then came back out for an encore Q&A, which was difficult to pull off with so many people, but shows how he feels about his fans. At this stage of his career, that is unheard of. My girlfriend and I attended the second Friday Night showing of Midget Wrestling Warriors at the Ohio Theatre in Columbus, OH. All in all, it was a great night, filled with energy and laughs. Seinfeld still has it after all these years, and any fan of his needs to experience one of these shows at least once before he calls it quits."
